For an organization wishing to improve employee participation and a more employee managed environment, 5S is an easy and effective first step.  The essence of employee involvement is to create employee ownership of the work place. What better beginning than to implement a process designed to give employees substantial input into the environment they work in every day?

Any auditor training that I have ever seen, has a portion of the course allocated to handling problem audits.  It has always been my position, that in the vast majority of cases, if an audit goes bad, it is the auditor, who must take the responsibility.
