Patrick W. Ambrose

p-ambrosePatrick (Pat) Ambrose is a Principle Partner in the 3P Network. With over 38 years of experience, developing, implementing and auditing management systems, he brings a multi-faceted perspective to his work.  In addition to over ten years managing his own consulting practice, Pat has held management positions in manufacturing, import export, and professional services.  As a consultant, he has worked with numerous manufacturers; health services organizations, retailers, and distributors.  Pat has consulted in manufacturing, electronics, construction, food, house wares, clothing and apparel, textiles, transportation, health care, telecommunications and furniture.

Pat’s consulting and auditing activities have taken him to Mexico, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  He has spoken on quality and process improvement subjects to The Ontario Medical Association, The Ontario Nursing Home Association, The American Society for Quality, and The Ontario Manufacturer’s Association.  Pat has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Guelph.

Pat has several years of experience auditing to the ISO 9000:1994 and ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9001:2008, QS 9000, QS 9000TE, ISO/TS 16949: 1999 and 2002 standards.  Pat is a RAB Certified IATCA Senior Auditor, an IRCA Certified Lead Auditor.

Pat is a Certified Engineering Technologist.  He is Past Chairman of the Kitchener Chapter of the American Society for Quality, Past Chairman of the Toronto Chapter ASQ Conference Committee, and Chief Adjudicator (Guelph Quality Awards).

Mr. Barber is one of the founders of the “3P Network” and acting Sale Manager. Mr. Barber also is a Senior Consultant, Trainer, and Program Manager. He has been a full time consultant since 1998, and estimates a total of 8,000 hours of in-class instructional training and 5,500 hours of client consultation since that time. Mr. Barber has over 24 years experience in the Quality profession with the majority of this time being spent in Quality Director / Manager and Quality Engineering roles. He has a diverse background with experience in the automotive, medical devices (FDA & CE), consumer electronic, telecommunications (including wireless and wired telecom applications), plastics, machining, and stamping industries. Mr. Barber has assisted companies in the development and implementation of cohesive quality systems that have resulted in the achievement of ISO 9001, QS-9000, TS16949, TL9000, ISO/IEC 17025, GMP ISO 13485, AS 9100, and many Lean / Six Sigma projects.

He received his Quality Assurance Certificate (accredited by the ASQ) from Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology, has a diploma in Electronics Engineering from Radio College of Canada.

Ray has over 23 years experience in the service sector primarily in the office products and furniture industry holding positions ranging from sales, marketing, business development, and quality/operations. Currently he operates his own business specializing in organizational operating metrics, and renewable energy initiatives.
He holds a Certified Quality Engineer from The American Society for Quality and a Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. Ray is involved in his local ASQ chapter as Conference Chair.
Community involvement achievements include The Guelph Chamber of Commerce; Chair Awards of Excellence and Guelph Quality Awards, The City of Guelph; Chair Economic Advisory Committee, and Guelph Hydro; Commissioner.
In the renewable energy industry Ray is a Geothermal Installation Specialist and a Certified Pipe Fusionist. He has a passion for earth energy systems for both residential and commercial applications.
Ray’s auditing experience is with The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in two sectors;
The Greenhouse Gas Program: Assessor for Validation and Verification Bodies (14065:2007),
Product Certification: Assessor in Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), as well as Polyethylene Resin for Gas Distribution (CINA IS 1001 & 1002).

Terry Collins

Terry is a Partner in the 3P Network and has over 30 years experience in management within the manufacturing sector as a Quality Manager, Environmental Manager, Plant Manager, Production Manager and Area Manager. These positions involved a variety of industry sectors such as: Air Movement, Agricultural, Automotive and Off Road Vehicles, Aerospace and Military. Processes performed within these organizations included Welding, Stamping, Painting, Assembly, Heavy Automotive Stamping, Robotic Welding, and CNC Machining. Terry also has considerable expertise in Industrial Heat Treating.

Terry is experienced in developing, writing, implementing, coaching and auditing to quality and environmental standards including ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, and TS 16949 and CQI-9. Terry has also implemented and audited Lean Manufacturing Systems.

Having, for many years, been a Rep Coach for Hockey, Soccer and Baseball, Terry brings a coaching philosophy to his training, and systems development approach.

Terry is a member of the American Society for Quality has being directly responsible for various companies attaining system certifications or compliance standings.

Frederic is a recognized bilingual consultant, auditor and trainer in the domain of Hazardous Materials and Environmental Management

Since 1985, Frederic has been dedicated to assisting organizations in meeting the requirements of domestic and international Hazardous Matarials Transportation Regulations, WHMIS, and Waste Management legislation.

He had previously worked for twelve years as a Human Resources and Safety Officer in several large corporations.

Frederic is a Certified Environmental Auditor, Senior Lead EMS Auditor and OHSAS Lead Auditor, and has performed a substantial number of full registration and surveillance audits in automotive and related manufacturing, mining, health care and related industries.

He also has over two hundred days of hazardous material management and regulatory compliance auditing experience.

Frederic is also a qualified lead instructor and mentor for ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001 Lead and internal auditor programs

He has developed and conducted training workshops and seminars in over 400 different private and public organizations across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean and Europe.
Programs include TDG, DOT, IATA and WHMIS.
